Tamm is located north of the state capital Stuttgart at the foot of the Hohenasperg.
The city has around 13.000 inhabitants and is a popular residential community with industry, commerce and agriculture. Additional free commercial space, a direct connection to the Ludwigsburg Nord motorway junction and the connection to the Stuttgart local transport network (20 minutes to Stuttgart main station) make Tamm an ideal industrial location.
Around 30 local clubs offer a wide range of opportunities for leisure activities. There are several schools on site. Sports and tennis facilities as well as the club's own gym can be used all year round. The former wine press was converted into a community center in 1985 and has now become the center of cultural life in Tamm. The infrastructure has continued to improve over the last two decades. Important projects included the renovation of the town center and the cloverleaf nursing home, which was inaugurated in 1992. Tamm has had a partnership with Althofen in Carinthia since 1984.
