Ingersheim in the Ludwigsburg district consists of the two towns Großingersheim and Kleiningersheim. In the community, located on the western bank of the Neckar, wine and fruit growing have a long tradition. However, there are also a number of industrial and commercial companies that are located primarily in the Großingersheim district.
The number of residents in Ingersheim has risen steadily over the last few decades. People enjoy the beautiful scenic location, embedded in meadows, fields and vineyards, use the many hiking trails or visit the unique viewpoints.
On the other hand, they have the opportunity to work in the industrial towns of Bietigheim-Bissingen, Ludwigsburg and Kornwestheim, which are only a few kilometers away.
Ingersheim has a modernized festival hall for cultural events and sports enthusiasts have access to a large sports facility with tennis courts. There is also a lot of understanding for the younger residents. At the BTX race, for example, which the community motorsport club regularly organizes, young people can really let off steam.
