The municipality of Eberdingen with the districts of Eberdingen, Hochdorf an der Enz and Nußdorf and its approx. 6.500 inhabitants is attractively located in a varied, heavily forested landscape crossed by clear streams, on the western edge of the Ludwigsburg district.
There are good bus and road connections to Vaihingen/Enz, Pforzheim, Leonberg, Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. The A8 and A81 motorways are easily accessible.
From an original farming village, the place has developed into a preferred residential community without losing its village character. There is an averagely developed infrastructure. Eberdingen has a primary and secondary school with a secondary school, kindergartens in every district, and a wide range of leisure facilities such as indoor or outdoor swimming pools and sports facilities.
It is also worth taking a trip to the Celtic Museum in the Hochdorf an der Enz district, which has gained importance beyond the country's borders.
