Bönnigheim is a delightful small town on the eastern edge of the Stromberg and the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park in the Ludwigsburg district.
The city, which has 7.000 inhabitants, has an above-average variety of local businesses and an associated large number of jobs. What characterizes Bönnigheim, both yesterday and today, is the wine, which is grown on over 200 hectares of vineyards.
The infrastructure is also exceptionally good, with a school center, sports facilities and a heated outdoor mineral pool, as well as the extensive cultural offerings. In Bönnigheim there is a museum for naive art that is unique in Europe and is housed in the castle and the Swabian Schnaps Museum. The historic city center also offers many sights, and the Stromberg offers a variety of opportunities for hiking enthusiasts to enjoy nature.
