Health can be experienced in the pharmacist's garden in Waiblingen's old town near St. Michael's Church. In twelve beds, which are arranged according to their healing effects on the individual organs, visitors can learn a lot about medicinal plants. Signs explain the respective effects of the medicinal herbs. One bed contains plants that help with heart and circulatory diseases, another contains herbs for digestive problems or for calming purposes. The Waiblingen pharmacists select the plants that are grown, including valerian and castor bean, but also lesser-known medicinal plants such as Hauhechel, which helps with kidney problems.
The Apothecary Garden is open between April and November.
