The House of City History on the edge of Waiblingen's old town is a historic place. With its creaking beams and stairs, low rooms and remnants of times past, the approximately 500-year-old building is a rarity in Waiblingen. Because it is one of the few houses that did not fall victim to the great city fire in 1634. The House of City History presents the city's history of Waiblingen from Roman times to the present day in a permanent exhibition. Weddings also regularly take place in the historic “Bohlenstube”, one of the museum rooms.
